reporting services - BIRT report output not visible in "view report as PDF" option -


i have installed birt in 64 bit windows 8 machine. when view report in html output or other output report visible fine. when chose view pdf , blank page opens small cross on top left corner , nothing else. (attaching screen shot) screen shot when clicked on "view pdf"

i tried opening same report on other machine (windows 7) birt "view pdf" , works fine.

i have checked opening other pdf files on machine, open ok. there other setting need in other make pdf output of report visible or bug windows 8 64 bit version.

this looks moderately complex report. try narrow possiblities creating simple report lable "test" , see if opens in pdf on 64 bit windows 8 machine. if know, there in report blocking pdf, if not have pretty proven bug windows 8 64 bit version.

if simple report works, want begin recreating complex report 1 peice @ time, , testing it, each new element. when stops working know breaks it.
