cannot view history for visual studiosafe -


i canno't view history file in vss. erery time click on 'view history' or rollback or difference between 2 files, error :

sourcesafe unable finish writing file. check available disk space, , ask administrator analyze sourcesafe database.

i trying view scripts added in morning, not able that. in need them. should ? there quick fix ?

i should mention able view history of new files added lately.

vss uses pair of files each instance of file in database: 1 representing latest version of file, , 1 represents change history. error message accurate. perform maintenance on database. in experience monthly, along frequent backups. if don't have recent backup, have lost history file, may still have latest version.
