jira: git notes support in git plugin for jira? -

i using git scm , jira defect tracking tool. have requirement wherein want add jira url in notes section of git. jira being licensed software, ok create custom plugin can handle git notes?

yes: nothing in "jira plugin guide" prevents so, , "recently updated add-ons jira" has share of free plugins.

currently though, processing jira issues done commit messages, not git notes. called smart commits, used through "jira dvcs connector".
