what is the directory user_upload in TYPO3 6.1 installs for? -


what directory "user_upload" in typo3 6.x installations (inside auto-created fileadmin) - , can safely deleted?

fileadmin/user_upload/ basic default upload folder editors rte images, uploading in element browser without choosing directory. fixed since typo3 6.0.5.

the default upload folder rte defined usertsconfig of each user:

options.defaultuploadfolder = 1:/mypics/
