php - Monitoring in PhpMyAdmin -


i guess i'm little confused what's going on here. in phpmyadmin in status->monitor section, when website not doing sql based @ time, i'm getting 6000 questions , 200 connections.

this not seem normal, can give me tips what's going on here, can't normal, right?

edit: im trying connect 4 different tables every 5 seconds , pull information them, , believe it's causing server crash. bad parctice?

i'm using jquery , php. think through bad programming can't hitting 400 queries second phpmyadmin saying i'm hitting.
