tfsbuild - Can we use Build definition created by TFS 2008 in TFS 2012? -


we have developed application using tfs 2008, developed auto build project using tfs 2008 , running in tfs 2008 server.

recently have upgrade our tfs tfs 2012 , have inherited code tfs 2012.

now use existing build definitions in tfs 2012. if try queue build asking controller not configured in tfs 2008. cannot proceed further.

any idea can build solution without using controller or can create controller , bind available agent(tfs 2008 agent).

you need create tfs 2012 build controller , build agent. can both on same machine. cannot use tfs 2008 build server tfs 2012 server / controller.

once have 2012 controller , agent, can use "upgrade template" call tfsbuild.proj file
