ios - AutoFocus in iPhone 4S front camera:- adjustingFocus observer not being invoked -


for key **adjustingfocus** observer notifies me when using camera

and not if using front camera.

any ideas on why happening ?

i testing on iphone 4s, ios 7 latest beta ,using gpuimage

the front facing camera on iphone 4s fixed focus camera, adjustingfocus observer never notify you.

you can demonstrate opening camera app front facing camera , checking out couple things. try putting finger close camera , noticing won't try pull focus on it. can tap around screen , see exposure , white balance adjust, focus never changing.
