html - How to arrange div elements in vertical columns like on Pinterest? -


since few years ago see blogs pinterest display posts of different heights in columns no horizontal alignment. don't understand how achieve that. use javascript? if so, use jquery plugin?

if have 2 different divs, both vertical, shouldn't try horizontally align themselves. example of made single div enclose both columns, making proper width , height, , nested 2 more divs inside of width around 50%, not align horizontally. outside of that, there shouldn't trying horizontally align elements of divs. if doesn't answer question, please post code.
